About CMO Translations
CMO Translations was founded by Carla Mengual Oltra in 2004 and is based in Hamburg, Germany.
Carla was born and raised in the Costa Blanca in Alicante and holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in International Marketing from the University of Alicante and important qualifications for her fluency in English, Spanish and Catalan.
Carla lived in America and England for many years, enjoying the different cultures and learning about the linguistic differences. She worked for two years in international marketing for Sheffield Hallam University, expanding her knowledge in business and applying her experience in translation. She also taught Spanish to foreign students, and realised that working with languages was what she really wanted to do. Not long after, she became a member of the ITI ( Institute of Translation and Interpreting), and she started working for the Chamber of Commerce and different translation agencies in the UK translating professionally into Spanish and Catalan.
Experienced language translator
She has translated hundreds of important specialised documents, from legal translations (sale-purchase contract translations, Power of attorney translations, Property valuation translations, divorce contract translations…) to police report translations, medical translation documents, advertising translations, food and drink translations, etc.
In 2008 she moved to Hamburg - Germany, to expand her knowledge of German and add new language services to CMO Translations. The company has recruited experienced German to English, German to Spanish, English to German and Spanish to German translators to provide the clients in Germany with a professional service.
